On those who break the law of Tara Bandu are imposed a spiritual sanction. The ritual heightens the spiritual awareness of people to respect nature as their sacred dwelling place their life sources.

Autor

is a lecturer at the Faculty of Social Science and Humanities, of Universidade da Paz (UNPAZ), Dili, Timor-Leste. He finished his Undergraduate Program in Indonesia and finishing his Master and PhD Program from Manila, Philippines. Currently, he holds position as Director of the Post Graduate Program, UNPAZ.
