The story journeys with James Hendricks (aged 12) whose life is forever changed by the sudden appearance of an angel in a dense mist on his way home from school. Her arrival sparks the unleashing of both good and evil forces and the complete transformation of James' dreaded bully: Billy Bristlebottom.
