Autor

Dr. Melanie McCoy is a retired educator and a private practice trauma therapist who provided mental health services to children, adolescents, and their families for over twenty-five years. Dr. McCoy held numerous leadership positions, including Clinical Director of community mental health and substance abuse clinics. Additionally, she taught doctoral courses at the university level. Dr. McCoy enjoys following Jesus, spending time with family, a good book, and the theatre. Her happy place is watching the sunrise from her porch. She is a proud Michigander, having grown up in Carrollton, Michigan, before moving to the Washington, D.C. metropolitan region.
