Portrait

Vijay B. Pawade is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Physics at the Laxminarayan Innovation Technological University, Nagpur, India. His research focuses on rare earth-doped oxide materials and their applications in LEDs, solar cell devices, and photocatalytic processes.

Dr. Ritesh L. Kohale is an Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Physics, SGM College, Nagpur, India. His research focuses on the synthesis and characterization of pyrophosphate-based phosphors for solid-state lighting, and on nanostructured materials for display technologies. He has published more than 40 research papers in international and national reviewed journals and also he has edited book in Nova Science Publisher. He is an editorial board member of American Journal of Optics and Photonics.

Sanjay J. Dhoble is a Professor in the Department of Physics at Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, India. During his research career he has worked on the synthesis and characterization of solid-state lighting materials and phosphors for solar cell efficiency enhancement, as well as the development of radiation dosimetry phosphors, and the biosynthesis of nanoparticles and their applications.

Hendrik C. Swart is a senior professor in the Department of Physics at the University of the Free State, South Africa. His research investigates the degradation of phosphors for field emission displays, as well as developing materials for nano solid-state lighting. He has been key in the development of processes to synthesize and deposit thin films of several types of semiconductor nanoparticles to enhance the color, luminescent intensity, and lifetime of such displays.
