Stephen Fry erzählt wortgewandt die antiken griechischen Göttermythen nach. Mit Witz und Charm ist es eine kurzweilige Unterhaltung, bei der man noch viel lernen kann. Die kurzen Geschichten sind chronologisch vom Anfang des Kosmos bis zur Interaktion der Götter mit den Menschen sortiert. Ein gelungenes Buch, das mich gelegentlich zum Schmunzeln und in seltenen Fällen laut zum Lachen gebracht hat. Die meisten Mythen waren mir bekannt, doch die Neuinterpretation liess die verstaubten Geschichten in einem ganz neuen Gewand glänzen.
