Das Buch hat so mich genervt, dass ich es nach etwa 50 Seiten weggelegt habe. Vieles ist wahnsinnig vorhersehbar oder wird mit der Brechstange in die Geschichte eingeführt. Die Affäre von Dan wird x mal angedeutet und kommt dann - mehr Cliché geht nicht - über eine versehentlich gesendete Chat-Nachricht zu Tage. Die Chronologie funktioniert nicht, die Charaktere sind reine Abziehbilder, etc. Mal wieder ein Buch wo ich überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen kann, warum es zum Bestseller wurde. Leichte Unterhaltung und Eskapismus sind genau mein Ziel für einen Sonntag Vormittag, aber wenn es so seicht ist, dann ärgere ich mich über die verschwendete Zeit. (2 von 5 Sternen, weil es deutlich schlechtere Bücher gibt. Da höre ich spätestens nach Seite 10 auf).

i absolutely loved this book. It was so emotional and so beautiful at the same time. seeing a "bad boy" like nick turn into a gentleman just because of his love for noah was one of the most beautiful things about this book. I loved how they helped each other and saved each other's lives. I've seen the movies before but the book was better than the movie because it was so much more emotional. i enjoyed the time reading it and had tears in my eyes too such a beautiful story and I'm looking forward to reading the second book
