This study recorded the first systematic investigation of petropods in Indian waters. Fifty two benthic foraminiferal and 12 pteropod species are systematically described in this monograph

Dr. N. R. Nisha is an Assistant Professor of Cochin University of Science and Technology. She is having more than 15 years of experience in the field Marine Micropaleontology and Paleoclimatology and has several national and international publications to her credit. This monograph is prepared from the samples collected off Northern Kerala.
