Over the course of time people have come to attribute arbitrary meanings to the Word of God to suit their own ends, resulting in the opponents of Islam to question its authenticity and teachings. Most of these misinterpretations have crept in because of our failure to fully understand the message of the Qur'an. The Promised Messiahas was commissioned not only to expound the beauties of Islam but also to adjudicate and correct the distortions and fabrications that had been introduced into Islam during the course of the centuries.
