Butch Cappel has spent most of his life living with and training dogs. He has traveled the world meeting and learning from dog trainers from all walks of life. His experience includes, but is not limited to, training dogs for family life, sports trial competition, and police work. He trained both handlers and dogs who provided security for presidents of the U.S. and Mexico. Butch owns and operates Cappel Canine, a board & train kennel in Texas. He is also currently overseeing his Western Shepherd project to address the health and structural problems in modern German shepherds.
