The book was very good, in my opinion. But I can also understand why some people might not like it. Enemies to Lovers was very well written, and the tension between Dante and Vivian was great. Unfortunately, the story was a bit predictable because it's the classic enemies to lovers (arranged marriage) story. Otherwise I loved the book!

sarcasm & love

At the beginning of Dantes and Vivians forced engagement they really hated each others guts, many arguments with looots of sarcasm. But the more Dante tries to avoid Vivian, the more he wants her. They get to know each other and he reveals his emotional side to her. Does he really want to break out of this forced engagement or does he want to keep her? I personally liked that this book has a real enemies-to-lovers story. They really hated the situation of being forcefully engaged to each other and not like other storys that say "enemies-to-lover" where they already love each other but only can´t be together because of any kind of circumstance like being in a rival team. In my opinion real enemies-to-lovers have to hate each other and only come together after they get to know each other and realise that the other person isn´t like they thought they´re. And i think Ana Huang really achived that with "King of Wrath". You really feel their dislike for each other in the many arguments they have and with all the sarcasm it´s sooo funny. The back and forth they were going through untill they admit to truelly liking each other was amazing. A real emotional rollercoaster with a few spicy elements.
