As we journey through life, we have been conditioned to believe that true success in this world is achieved by amassing material wealth. However, as history has exemplified over time, this unchecked chase for material glory causes more harm than good. This book aims to change the perception of success. For us, true success is the attainment of internal peace and happiness that comes with understanding and embracing our unique purpose for existence. Understanding our purpose allows us to walk a straight path toward moral perfection, which is unhindered by any drawbacks or misfortunes. As Imam Ali states "Your remedy is within you, but you do not sense it. Your sickness is from you, but you do not perceive it. You presume you are a small entity, But within you is enfolded the entire universe...Therefore, you have no needs beyond yourself. What you seek is within you, if only you reflect." The more we understand ourselves, the less we will need to rely on anything else for our happiness. In search of guides who embody the epitome of understanding and morality, we do not need to look further than the ethos taught by Prophet Muhammad and his Ahlul-Bayt (family). Through their words and through daily reflection, we aim to redefine what it means to be successful in this world and the next.
