The main purpose of this study is to examine the reality of occupational health and safety (OHS) conditions at the Palestinian level in particular and at the international level in general, through reviewing the previous literature, reports, and studies, especially the foreign and local studies and reports conducted and issued by the International Labor Organization (ILO) and the Palestinian Ministry of Labor(PML), as well as through the recognition of the reality of different levels of occupational health and safety culture locally and internationally, which address the prevention and improvement of health and safety and raise the efficiency of the workers in the areas of their professionals, and its impact on social and economic development. This OHS issue is considered the most important issue nowadays, OHS issue is important for every economic sector - industry, trade, agriculture, education, and health services - at all levels of public and private sectors - governmental organizations (GOs) and non-governmental organizations (NGOs), in raising its labor force productivity and efficiency as a result of occupational risks prevention such as occupational accidents and disease.
