Genesis as it name implies is a book of "Beginnings." It contains the dramatic story of Creation. It shows the creation of the universe and the beginnings of life on this planet. The book offers itself assuming the issue of its own veracity. It is not subject to man's scientific investigation. Man would like to have proof but the Bible although provable is not written so that it might be put into a scientific journal where some man may say that it is right or wrong. If you look for Christ in the Bible he is enfolded in the Old Testament and unfolded in the New (author unknown). The Holy Spirit brings the sublime truth of it to light in the heart of the believer.
