Autorenporträt
Author Julene Bailie captures another story focused around the adventures of the Riverbend Eagles. Julene uses the antics of the eaglets each nesting season to teach children life lessons. Her previous children's books include, "The Eagle Tree" (surviving the nest collapse); "Bully in the Nest" (understanding and overcoming eagle bullying behavior); and "The Eagle Who Was Afraid to Fly" (overcoming fears). Each book is full of actual pictures of the Riverbend eagles taken during the nesting season. Julene enjoys giving talks to groups about this family of eagles, participates in wildlife festivals, writes articles, and talks to those she meets along the Green River Trail near the Riverbend Eagle Tree. Her goal is to inspire future story-tellers and authors, and to educate others about the bald eagle. Julene, a Nebraska native, currently resides in Washington State.
