This current text is the second book completed and prepared for non-readers - those who are just beginning and those who began and then slipped through the educational cracks. It is my desire to see our children and those who have arrived in this country seeking freedom and a new life become good readers. It is on this very principle that our nation became one of the most literate societies in the 19th and 20th centuries.
