Do you love „Disney's Mulan“ as much as I do? And what about „Robin Hood“? Then you definetly have to read „Flame in the mist“, which has many details from both of them. There is everything a fandom heart could seek. A strong female protagonist named Mariko, who has a great character developement. Not to forget the other characters like Ranmaru, Okami, Yumi, Yoshi, Ren, Kenshin and I could go on even further, so you see, there is a great amount of characters that are really interesting and awesome. It has an exciting storyline with intrigue, love and, of course, Japan is in its focus. „Be as swift as the wind. As silent as the forest. As fierce as the fire. As unshakable as the mountain. And you can do anything.“ will be our new iconic lines remembering our loved lines : „we must be swift as the coursing river, (…) with all the force of a great typhoon, (…) with all the strength of a raging fire, mysterious as the dark side of the moon“. A must-read!
