The creative force behind so much of what is done at Wolf Pine Hollow, Simone has worn many varied hats throughout her life and career but there has always been one constant-- writing. It was inevitable that she'd take her love of wonderment and prose to bring these farm stories to life. "Dilly the Not So Silly Flying Goat" is the first in a series of rhyme-versed children's books set at Wolf Pine Hollow, an actual, enchanting Hancock New Hampshire farm. With her husband Mort, of over six decades, as her sounding board and biggest cheerleader, Simone works from her lovely South Florida studio. She is excited to share her creations so be sure to be on the lookout for her second book, "Stinky Inky the Smitten Kitten", a tale about a tail belonging to a most unlikely but very dear friend! Ariane's latest, and most favorite career to date, is best described by her title - Resident Farmer. She and her husband Tom have created an impressive 100 acre farm where adorable goats, woolly sheep, and prolific egg producing chickens happily share space with fields of spectacular flowers and vegetables along with fruit producing orchards and charming FarmLuxe accommodations. Dilly, a real live Wolf Pine Hollow goat, who seemed to be flying as she leapt from boulder to boulder, was the inspiration for this book, an idea she shared with her mother, Simone, whose personal family and friends' commemorative rhymes were legendary. Creative collaboration resulted in this enchanting, whimsical tale, subsequently and appropriately titled "Dilly the Not So Silly Flying Goat".
