Discrete-Time Systems are similar to algorithms that map an input to an output. In this book we present examples of discrete-time systems while explaining five ways to characterize these systems. Block diagrams and linear difference equations are used throughout the presentation. We then expand the concepts of systems to discuss the features of the impulse response and convolution.
