Marcy Heidish is the author of nine books, three of which are historical novels about spiritual women who, empowered by their faith, boldly defied societal roles. Heidish's acclaimed A Woman Called Moses is based on the life of Harriet Tubman, a legendary conductor on the Underground Railroad.
