Academic strategic leaderships are considered the most precious human capital that actuate mankind into developed societies through the discovery, preservation, dissemination and application of scientific knowledge. Evidently, such leaders must be highly qualified and trained to achieve this kind of human transformation. Hence, this textbook shall explain and discuss the history, types, and dimensions of these strategic leadership competencies that must be possessed by each leader; before investigating their effectiveness on the overall perceived academic staff performance.
