The aim of this book is to provide up to date information on synthesis and characterization of eco-friendly alkanolamine based esterquats derived from renewable fatty feedstock. Evaluation of properties of fabric softening formulations on different fabric substrates has been studied thoroughly. Furthermore, development of cost- effective softening formulations based on cheaper raw materials has also been emphasized.
