The aim of the study was to detect the accuracy of CT scan in the diagnosis of the brain glioma, and confirmation of glioma by tissue biopsy results after surgery. The data was collected, classified, and analyzed using SPSS. The study was carried out for 101 patients with brain glioma (51.5%) were male and (48.5%) were female. The data was collected, classified, and analyzed using SPSS. The study was carried out for 101 patients with brain glioma (51.5%) were male and (48.5%) were female. The ages of the patients were from 1year to 80 years old. The study showed that the prevalence of the gliomas among the whole brain tumors in Sudan was (17.7%). The diagnosis of the all CT brain images showed that the astrocytoma were (63.4%) which registered the highest percentage among the other type of the gliomas, and the biopsy result confirmed that there were (38.6%) patients with astrocytoma. Most of the brain glioma occurred in the parietal lobe (34.7%), showed a mixed density (52.5%), and a contrast enhancement (81.5%).The study concluded that the CT scan is sensitive in the diagnosis of the brain glioma.
