Jussi Adler-Olsen, geb. am 2.8.1950 in Kopenhagen, studierte Medizin, Soziologie, Politische Geschichte und Film und arbeitete in vielen verschiedenen Berufen. Er gilt als bestverkaufter dänischer Krimiautor. Jussi Adler-Olsen ist verheiratet und Vater eines Sohnes. 2014 wurde er mit dem Ripper-Award, dem Europäischen Preis für Kriminalliteratur, ausgezeichnet.
