Umjubelte Headlinertouren durch Europa und -auftritte auf Festivals wie dem Summer Breeze, dem Wacken Open Air oder dem Party.San. Darüber hinaus stürmte ihr letztes Album "Fate Of Norns" in den deutschen Media Control Charts auf einen unglaublichen Platz 31, während in Österreich Platz 56 erklommen wurde und die Truppe in ihrem Heimatland Schweden auf Platz 7 der MetalCharts und Platz 77 der Albumcharts landete. Eine Steigerung wird für den Nachfolger zu "Fate Of Norns" erwartet, der für Herbst dieses Jahres angekündigt ist. Um die Wartezeit für die lechzenden Fans zu verkürzen und den beispiellosen Triumphzug der letzten Jahre passend zu dokumentieren, erscheint jedoch Ende April erst einmal die erste DVD aus dem Hause AMON AMARTH. Sie hört auf den Namen "Wrath Of The Norsemen" und entpuppt sich als prall gefülltes 3-Disc-Set im edlen, 10-seitigen, mit Gold laminierten Digipack, das dem Fan eine Rundumvollbedienung bietet. Kernstück der Box ist ein im August 2005 in der Kölner Live Music Hall mitgeschnittene Konzert, das mit 21 performten Songs als längster, jemals von AMON AMARTH gespielter Gig in deren Annalen einging.
