Jeremy Rifkin erzählt die Menschheitsgeschichte ganz neu

Der Soziologe und Ökonom Jeremy Rifkin entwirft eine Vision der Zukunft der menschlichen Gesellschaft. Ausgehend von der These, dass die Menschheit sich aus Eigennutz und zur Lustmaximierung entwickelt hat, zeichnet der Autor ein Bild, in dem die Empathie, also die Fähigkeit, sich in andere Menschen hineinzuversetzen, um zu empfinden, was der andere fühlen muss, im Mittelpunkt steht: die eigenen Gefühle kennen, um angemessen auf den anderen zu reagieren. In der Empathie sieht Rifkin die Zukunft für das Zusammenleben der Menschheit in Wirtschaft, Politik und Gesellschaft.

Um zu diesem Ergebnis zu kommen, holt er weit aus.
