XR-5 is the fifth extrasolar X-ray source believed to be in the
constellation Sagittarius detected by a research group at the Naval
Research Laboratory using a sounding rocket. Sgr XR-5 is at J1950
RA 18h 26m Dec -13°. Sgr XR-5 is actually in the constellation
Scutum. Sgr XR-6 current position is within NGC 6530 a star
cluster, which is a bipolar nebula in Messier 8 (Lagoon Nebula),
containing known X-ray sources.
