The book focuses on the process of the transition from the traditional banking practices to the modern electronic banking in Uganda, and the technological, legal and practical challenges generated by or attendant to the said transition. The efficacy of the legal and institutional framework regulating electronic banking in Uganda, coupled with the identification of the possible avenues of improving the modern banking system, constitute part of the subject matter considered in this research paper.
